General Motors posted a $9.6 billion fourth-quarter loss and burned through $6.2 billion of cash in the last three months of 2008
Not only that, the nation's biggest domestic carmaker said Thursday it lost $30.9 billion for the full year.
However, don’t expect the century-old carmaker to fold. The Obama administration can’t allow that to happen.
Labor Unions contributed heavily to help elect Mr. Obama and a host of other union-friendly Democrats. The administration will not allow thousands upon thousands of dues-paying union members to end up in the unemployment lines.
