New York City may ban horse drawn carriages

One New York City councilman plans to introduce a bill that will ban horse-drawn carriages in the city.

The horse-drawn carriages that clip clop around Central Park, like the one shown here, could be a thing of the past if animal activists have their way.

It’s a good thing New York City didn’t have those same activists before motor vehicles came into use.
