The art of communicating

The pastor noticed a young boy in the church foyer studying a plaque with several names and small American flags by each name.

As the pastor approached the boy asked the reason for the plaque.

The pastor explained, “It’s a memorial to all of the men and women from our church who died in the service,”

They stood there together soberly looking at the plaque.

Finally the seven-year-old, in a voice barely audible and trembling with fear, asked, “which service, the 9:30 or the 11:00?”
