A German veterinarian uses an electric grinder to give a pedicure to Boy, a 39 year-old Asian elephant, who was sedated before the cosmetic work at Kiev Zoo on May 23, 2009.
A delegation of German veterinarians arrived from Munich Zoo to help their Ukrainian colleagues perform the complex pedicure.
