The writer of the article at the link below is accusing the newly elected Republican Governor John Kasich (pictured) of ignoring blacks when selecting his cabinet.One of the problems with the Democrat Party in recent years is the misguided conception that a disproportionate number of blacks should be appointed to prominent political positions.
Kasich has said he does not dwell on "metrics," such as race, and doesn't "look at things in terms of quotas." A spokesman said Kasich offered cabinet posts to two African Americans, but they declined.
