Mystery Missile said to be a plane - but is anyone buying it?

After nearly a day of keeping quiet and then some speculating, the Pentagon has finally said the "missile" off the California coast was a Plane! Are you kidding me?!

Look at the video below and then ask yourself if you think it looks like a plane.

Do planes shoot up out of the water 35 miles out in the ocean off the coast of California?

One skeptic asked: "do they think Americans just fell off the turnip wagon?"



Tom Chivers of the London Telegraph doesn't believe the Pentagon either.

He says:

I mean, come on. Are Californians so unused to seeing jet contrails that when one happens to be coming straight towards them, they think it’s vertical? Are they unfamiliar with the concept of perspective?



Apparently the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the US Northern Command (NORTHCOM) issued a joint statement saying that the vapor trail was not the result of any foreign military launching a missile, but gave no further details.

You’ve got to think that back at NORAD and NORTHCOM HQs, a lot of military top brass were giggling to themselves at that.
