Jimi Heselden (pictured), the wealthy British businessman who owns the company that makes the two-wheeled Segway human transporter, was killed while riding one of his machines.Heselden bought control of the Bedford, New Hampshire-based Segway Company in December.
The photo below shows participants riding Segways during a downtown tour of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Mr. Heselden was testing a cross-country version of the Segway when he rode over a 30-foot cliff and into a river near his home in West Yorkshire, England.
