House Rules Committee still debating

The photo below shows the House Rules Committee debating Sunday morning before the vote on ObamaCare.

Among issues that the House Rules Committee will have to contend with is how the bill addresses insurance coverage of abortions.

But then, as Congressman Alcee Hastings says in the video below, “There are no rules here ... we make them up as we go along..."

By the way...

Congressman Alcee Hastings, previous to his election to the U.S. House of Representatives, was a lawyer and judge in Florida.

As a judge, he was impeached and removed from office for corruption and perjury. He was the sixth federal judge in American history to be impeached and removed from office.

The impeachment, however, did not prevent him from serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Alcee Hastings impeachment story is here.
