Nuclear Monday number four

Don’t ya just hate it when they give you a medical procedure that you can’t pronounce?

This morning it was another nuclear ventriculography. It was the fourth one in the last ten years.

They inject a radioactive isotope into a vein while taking a treadmill stress test to show how well the blood is pumping through the heart and check for clogged arteries.



I am grateful for modern medical technology, good insurance coverage and not as many stairs to climb as shown in the drawing.
