He seemed to be miscast and never really appeared comfortable on Monday Night Football. He lacked the rapport with Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski because was too argumentative.
Jon Gruden (shown at left), the former Tampa Bay and Oakland coach appears to be a good replacement for Kornheiser.The 45-year-old Gruden, came in as an 11 season NFL head coach.
Although Gruden has a reputation for being brash, opinionated, and irreverent, he should popular with the fans and more accepted than the argumentative Kornheiser.
