Obama backers dismayed by raid on illegals

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raided an engine machine shop in Washington State and detained illegal immigrants.

As a result, immigrant rights groups blasted Obama for breaking what they called his "personal commitment" to change the Bush-era immigration raids.

The Obama administration itself seemed taken aback by the raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (pictured) vowing to Congress that she would "get to the bottom of this."

“The secretary is not happy and this is not her policy," a Homeland Security official said Wednesday evening, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The Obama administration seems to think it is in the nation’s best interest to allow illegal aliens to stream into the country and take jobs away from U.S. citizens who are looking for work.
