In an ironic twist, Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich (pictured), who was impeached last Friday, will swear in the Illinois Senate, the same body that will decide his political future.The report at the link below also illustrates how relatives of Blagojevich seem to be interwoven into Illinois politics. Who knows, maybe in the final analysis, Blago won’t be voted out of office after all.
The final say, however, may come from Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley who, like his father Richard J. Daley, made most of the decisions within the Democratic Party concerning not only the city of Chicago but the entire state.
