Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin (pictured) spoke to a crowd of between 20,000 and 25,000 at Richmond International Raceway.
“You all know something about close races” she told the crowd.
As Palin took the stage at Richmond International Raceway, she thanked the crowd for waiting in long lines. She introduced Hank Williams Jr., who asked, “Are you ready for some Sarah?” a play on his intro to Monday Night Football games.
She resonates with “the folks.”
Local media reported this story. The main stream media must have been too busy covering a Biden appearance in front of 2,500 at a high school gymnasium somewhere.
