Pom Pom mom pleads insanity

A 33-year-old woman from Green Bay Wisconsin was accused of stealing her daughter's identity to attend high school and join the cheerleading squad.

Wendy Brown gave the school a bad check for cheerleader costumes.

Ms. Brown faces a felony identity theft charge after enrolling in a Wisconsin high school as her 15-year-old daughter, who lives in Nevada with Brown's mother.

Brown also faces theft and forgery charges from an unrelated case, where she is accused of collecting money for an apartment she didn't have authority to rent.
