He seldom speaks to large crowds. That way his speaking gaffes will be heard by only a few.
He looks more like a deer caught in headlights than his usual rambling self.
The exposure hound who in recent years appeared more often than any other guest on the Sunday talk shows is a virtual stranger to the small band of reporters on his plane.
