A 29-year-old Pinedale, Wyoming man was arrested at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Denver.
Police officers at the hotel noticed him carrying a rifle-type case while checking in. He was found to have two hunting rifles and two pistols.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and other guests were briefly evacuated from the hotel as a precaution.
Police did not release details of the arrest.
