The not so carefully guarded secret is out and it’s now official: Senator Biden (pictured) of Delaware will be Obama’s Vice Presidential running mate.Balancing the ticket with an older congressional veteran well-versed in foreign policy and defense issues was surely considered essential to have a chance at the White House.
