Amtrak train ran out of fuel - really

Have you ever heard of a train running out of fuel? Me neither, but it happened to an Amtrak train running from Los Angeles to San Diego.

We realize you just can’t pull a train into the nearest 7-Eleven for fuel, but don’t they have fuel gauges on Amtrak trains?

It happened on Sunday night.

By Monday morning Amtrak officials were investigating to see just what went wrong.

By Monday night some of the train crew were probably on Monster.com looking for new jobs.
