Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (pictured), the Nigerian charged with trying to blow up an international flight near Detroit last Christmas has told a federal judge he wants to represent himself in court.He's in custody awaiting trial on charges that include attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. Nearly 300 people were aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253. Authorities say he was trying to set off explosives hidden in his underwear.
